Elaine DAVIES Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Elmswood Retirement Village, aged 89, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 5.50am (Ironically the same time she used to leave for Maccas Merivale, to have her daily coffee). Loved wife of the late Paul ''PG', caring and supportive mother and mother-in-law of Paul and Anita, Alain and Allan, Terry and Raj. Special grandmother to Sarah and Jay, Matthew and Tamara, Kayla, Sean and Shelin, Hamish. The family are very appreciative of the love and care provided to mum by the nurses and carers at Elmswood care suites. A private celebration of mums life was held during the week followed by cremation

I´m very sorry to learn of Iola´s passing. I worked with her at James Dunlop in 1985/86 as a 17 year old office junior. She was wonderful to work with, always full of good advice and ready for a laugh. I´ve been living in Australia for 33 years but always loved to catch up with Iola whenever I came home, sometimes at her favourite Maacas.
Iola, my dear friend, you will be missed.
