Elaine BERRY Obituary

On July 23, 2025, passed away at home, aged 80 years. Very much loved partner of Allan Humphreys, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Ruth and Andrew, Robert and Val, loved Grandma of Hannah, Rachael, Jessica; and Sophie, much loved sister and sister-in-law of Graham (deceased) and Adele, and a much loved aunty.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Society of St Vincent de Paul would be appreciated and may be made online at: donate.svdp.org.nz. A Funeral Mass for Elaine will be celebrated in St Joseph's Darfield Catholic Church, Telegraph Road, Darfield, on Wednesday, July 30, at 10.30am, followed by interment in St Joseph's churchyard.

Elaine and I were at Canterbury University together, and we have kept in contact since. We shared many Visits in Christchurch and Wellington, and also in Leeds and the Lake District.
I shall miss her very much.
