Eileen MORAN Obituary

Peacefully at Banbury Park, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, in her 90th year. Loved wife of the late Michael, much loved Mum of Julie, Anna, Peggy, and Cushla, and a loved mother-in-law of Michael, Les, Michael (deceased), and Jack. Always loved and in her thoughts her son Sean, a dearly loved Grandma and Great-Grandma of all her grandchildren. Eileen will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends. The family would like to sincerely thank Banbury Park for all their love and care of Eileen, and a special thank you to Rupi from Essie Summers. Messages to the Moran family c/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Eileen's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Wednesday, November 27, at 12.30pm.

Eileen outlived her 4 other siblings, originally from Martinborough but lived her life in Christchurch - always extremely proud of her children and her grandchildren - and was quick to remind without asking how well they were all doing. Although contact was minimal through distance - was pleased to have called her my aunt.
