Dear Charlie
It was an absolute pleasure to look after your mum. She definitely had a sense of humor. I am very sorry for your loss and thinking off you all. It has been a real pleasure to meet the daughters. You were all so supportive and kind and there for her.
Take care.

I am Eileens great-grandson. Eileen was such a wonderful great-nana to me. We would go out for lunch and have lovely conversations at the retirement village. I enjoyed hearing stories of her younger life and of her father attending world war 1. She labelled me as a good boy and she referred to me as her little man. I love you great nana. Your memory will be kept alive until we meet again.

To Eilleen's family,
My heartfelt condolences and sympathy. I saw her obituary when reading the Press on-line. Until her frailty took over, and she could not come to Mass, Eileen was one of our regulars at Our Lady of Victories. She continued to receive Holy COmmunion at home until she moved into care, and even then, at least at the initial stages at Sommerset, she continued to do so. I always enjoyed my exchange with her. We could tease each other, and she always had a positive outlook. The late Fr Graeme (tragically killed in a bike accident), my assistant at OLV, also took a liking to Eileen. It is a pity we are going through the Covid crisis, for I know she would have loved to have a Requiem Mass, but at the same time, would not want a fuss. I will celebrate a Mass for her to pray for her happy repose.
Blessings
