Just want to say farewell to Ed, a respected colleague and good friend. Fond memories in Wellington at the Church and various bars. We had a great day fishing and diving at Riversdale. So sad to have to say goodbye.

My heartfelt sympathy to Ed's family and all who were fortunate to know him.

Sad to hear this news !
Probably the most humble and nicest guy I've ever known..
Although I haven't seen you for years, you are the brother of my good friend Katherine, so a brother of mine... Another soul lost in this hectic journey we call life.. My love, always xo

Eddie's kindness was limitless, he was a caring and devoted friend and colleague.
Ed had such a hilarious and quirky sense of humour, a keen intellect and was a role model to many people.

He would really brighten up the room when he walked in.
My condolences go out to his family and his friends at this sad time.

Eddie's message to me when my pet passed away.

Eddie, your professional life started with me. Through my 35 years of working life I cannot recall a more brilliant mind, nor a more kind gentle and generous friend. I remember with great nostalgia the many happy days of fun and gaiety that we shared. The vacuum you have left cannot be filled. The world has lost one of the finest Transmission engineers on this planet. I say this with 100% conviction, knowing you as I did. Rest in peace my dear friend. God be with you.
