Edward ROGERS Obituary

Passed away peacefully in Christchurch, after a short battle with illness, on Monday, July 15, 2024; aged 70 years. Beloved and cherished husband to Judy. Much loved father and father-in-law to Lisa and Mark, and Michelle. Adored Grandfather of Izzy, Sam and Amelie. Loved Brother of Joy and the late Dawn and Robert. Loved brother-in-law and Uncle. Highly respected colleague and friend to many. Special thanks to all the staff at Ngaio Marsh for their care and support. Messages to the family of Eddie Rogers, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Research NZ would be appreciated and may be made on line only via their website. A private cremation has taken place. A Memorial service for Eddie will be held at the Harewood Chapel, Wilkinsons Road, Harewood, on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1.00pm.

Please accept my loving Sympathy to you Judy and family on the loss of Edward. The Rodgers family and the Mitchell family were good friends many years ago. Every Sunday going out to Waterton to the farm and the men going out rabbit shooting. I remember Edward being born. Coila his mum and Bob. I was Dawn and Joys flower girl so lots of childhood memories sadly not so much of his adult life.
Rest in love and memories Eddie, and love to your family.
