Edward PHIPPS Obituary

Over the years you managed Lakes Station you allowed us access to fish the Hurunui River. Along the way through small chat and greetings upon the track we got to know each other well. Your kindness and goodwill shown us was always appreciated and your love of the High Country imparted apon us will never be forgotten. You TAMED the High Country. "A Legend". You Are the Lakes Station and for me you will ALWAYS just be in the next paddock.

only found out about Teds passing knew him well when he worked at Centre HIll and the night he got the new Nash Rambler from the late W.E.Hazlett.My sympathy to all his family.

It was with sadness that we heard of Teds passing. Thank you for your assistance over many years.

RIP Ted.Its been many years since I worked with Ted on Burwood station and trips up to Mt Aurum . Over the years I still remember the times that we worked together and the yarns you shared and good times. Condolences to the Phipps family
