Earlier today

I first met Edith when I modelled for a couple of her portrait painting classes, and subsequently would often catch up with her at tango events. She was such a fascinating and talented lady. I still recall her telling me about her days illustrating fashion adverts for the local paper from her home as a young mother - a practical side to the life of a gifted visual artist. Edith was elegant and witty, and I have often thought of her over the years since she stopped coming to dance events. All my condolences to her family and friends, who will miss her dearly, I am sure.

Earlier today

We met Edith at Tango and I so much enjoyed her company and dancing. She was a very special person with a beautiful sense of style and a lot of class, it was privilege to have known her.
