Condolences and love to Edith's family. I was Edith's massage therapist for a good 10+ years and I do remember Edith being a wonderful independent woman with a quick wit and a kind heart. Always getting out and about hiking, skiing, painting and travel, her zest for life was wonderful. May you continue your adventures always xx Tina

What fond memories I have of dear Edith, four days younger than me, and a family friend throughout our younger years. And what fun we had at our shared 50th birthday party at the Wanaka Golf Club, followed by our 60th at Hanmer. There were five of us celebrating then, and now only two remaining.
I wish I could be there at Woodbury on Thursday, but alas I cannot make it. My thoughts and condolences to all of Edith's family and friends.

Dear Delightful Edith,
Just over 88 years ago, my mother (Betty Unwin) sent you a telegram via your mother Myra Tripp. The telegram read: "Darling Edith. Will you marry me? Bill." Back came a telegram in reply: "Yes, yes, yes, yes. Edith". You were a day old at the time and I was about four days older
Although we did not marry, we had many great times together including the sharing of our 50th and 60th birthdays. Thank you Edith for your lifelong friendship, and for not suing for breach of promise.
