Dear Raphael and family, when we moved into our Ledger Street home in 2013 we were befriended and made to feel welcome by two very special people, you Raphael and your lovely Duncan and it brings us much sadness to hear Duncan has moved on. We enjoyed our chats in the middle of the road, his words of wisdom on matters of farming, politics and life in general, his kindness of offers of help (and free use of the chipper, whenever we wanted it), he was very much part of the essence of us enjoying life in the street. We are glad he gave us a copy of his life in book form put together by his family to honour his life and we will cherish it now more than ever. Each time we look across to your old house in Ruffell Place it will remind us of Duncan and we will feel thankful that we had the opportunity to have Duncan in our lives, go well our friend, with much love Mark and Viv Rounce (and family

We are deeply saddened to hear about Duncan's passing. He was such a beloved part of our cul-de-sac, always eager to chat and keep up with the latest happenings in the neighborhood. His warm presence and friendly conversations brought a sense of community that we´ve all missed dearly since he moved to the retirement home.
Please know that we are thinking of you during this difficult time. His memory will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and the neighborhood won´t be the same without him.
With heartfelt sympathy,
The Hardinges
