HAPPER, Duncan Alan
Robert (Alan), (Dr):
Previously of University of Canterbury, Department of Chemistry. Passed away on January 31, 2023, aged 84 years, after a short illness. Much loved son of the late Gordon and Mavis Happer. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Donald and June, and respected and caring Uncle to Mark and Nicola, Craig and Gillian, and Bryce and Debbie. Great-Uncle to his nephews and nieces. Held in the highest esteem by his many friends. A special thanks to the staff at Camellia Court, Ward 24 Christchurch Hospital, Palliative Team, and Ilam Healthcare for their care of Alan. A Memorial Service to celebrate Alan's life will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Sockburn, on Thursday, February 9 at 2.00pm, followed by afternoon tea. All welcome to attend. A private interment will be held at the Dunsandel Cemetery at a later date.
