Douglas SAUL Obituary
Douglas James (Doug):
On April 11, 2022 at the Marlborough Hospice, with family at his side, in his 93rd year. Dearly loved husband of Anne, and a much loved father and father-in-law of Patricia and John Biasatti (USA), Greg and Susan (Christchurch), Mark and Angela, Adrian and Marie (Australia), and Peter and Sheila (UK). A loved Grandy of his 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at the Church of the Nativity, Alfred Street, on Tuesday, April 19 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Fairhall Cemetery. The service for Doug will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the Cloudy Bay Funeral Services website.

Feeling for you all. My sympathy at this time. I hope that the area east part of the Springlands School was purchased from Doug. He was very supportive of the school making use of that land. I was involved with the committee at the time and met with Doug. You will have lots of good memories of a life well lived.

Dear Anne and family, please accept my sincere condolences on your sad loss of Doug. You had a long and happy marriage and your contribution to the Central Rugby Club for many many years will be remembered by many. Zorite wallboards was an extremely important business as suppliers for the building industry.
