Doug was a tremendous, humble person who shared his knowledge about television with me. Doug was one of the early sports tv directors in New Zealand at DNTV2. A well lived life, Doug...

Loved working with Doug on many Sports events in in the South Island and Wellington. Believe he was the first director of synchronised swimming broadcast... not an easy job from memory but we worked our way through it. He made these times less stressful and always fun. Had softball in common as well, involving Ann and Tracy. Condolences to you both.
