Douglas HAMILTON Obituary

Has now moved onto greener pastures. Died peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday December 15, 2023, at 'The Oaks', aged 83 years. Dearly loved, wonderful husband of Cherrie for 55 years. Loving father to Sally, and James. Grandad to Liberty, Harry, George, Ed, Olivia, Ruby, and Lily. He will be sadly missed by us all. Messages to the Hamilton family, C/- PO Box 111-01, Christchurch 8443. A Memorial Service for Dougal will be held in the Academy Funeral Services Chapel, 65 Main South Road, Upper Riccarton, on Wednesday, December 20, at 2.00pm.

We have very fond memories of Dougal which started when he and Cherrie loaned us their very special pony POGO who taught our three children to ride and was a special part of our family for many years.
