Douglas (Kenny) Kenneth Cross Sr., 83, Born August 4, 1942, Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2025, Smithfield, NC. He was a devoted husband of 45 years to Dr. Lisa M. Bookert Cross. Survived by his children Lisa Cole, Tyrone Cross (Monique), Andrea Hancock, and Troy Cross, Douglas K. Cross, Jr., Blair Segrue (Nate), Neville Cross (Kelly), and brother, Richard Cross Jr. Grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. To Kenny, no one was a stranger. He carried a constant sense of optimism and excitement, celebrating every idea, every accomplishment, and every plan - his own as well as those of others.
