BLAKIE, Douglas Arthur Spark (Doug) Reg. No. 48281, 2nd NZEF, WWII - On August 18, 2014, peacefully at Christchurch Hospital, in his 95th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Daisy (Dai). Loved father and father-in-law of Bryan and Vivienne Blakie, Barbara Douglas, and a much loved Grandad of Andrew, Karl and Kath, Natasha and Chris, and great-granddad of Thomas, Sammy, and Ruby. In accordance with Doug's wishes, a Private Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, August 20.
