Barbara HARPER Obituary

On Friday, September 26, 2025, in her 90th year, peacefully at Kaiapoi Lodge, where she was born in 1936. Dearly loved wife of the late Philip, adored Mum and mother-in-law of Darrin and Suzette, Jendy and Andrew; treasured Gran of Henry, Patric, James, Anne, Blair, and Rose; loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Barbara Harper, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. With thanks to the caring staff at Kaiapoi Lodge for their devotion to Barbara. The memorial service in celebration of Barbara's life will be held at Clarkville Hall, 11 Heywards Road, on November 2, at 2.00pm.

So sorry to hear of Barbara's passing. Such a lovely lady, always had time to stop and talk and such a special smile. I am lucky to have known her for almost 60 years, from my childhood at Clarkville school right through to helping with real estate many years ago and in recent years catching up at various events (unfortunately most being funerals). Jendy, Darrin and family, my sincere sympathies. I know you have so many wonderful memories which will always be 'forever in your hearts'.
