Dorothy CAPON Obituary

Dear David and family. We are so sad to hear about Dot. She was a wonderful person. I really enjoyed teaching with her at Ashburton College, and then being Deacons together at Ashburton Baptist - we even car-shared when we were both commuting to jobs in Christchurch. She was a kind, generous and highly respected individual. We are thinking and praying for you in your loss. You have that amazing consolation that she is with our Lord, and waiting for you in Heaven. I was so sad to hear from Trevor Cochrane that Dot had passed away. It was such a pleasure to be a colleague of hers teaching at Ashburton College and to make the connection to again with David who was at school with me. Such a lovely Christian couple. I pray that David will be comforted and upheld by family and friends and be assure of the added blessing of God's Holy Spirit. I understand you are retired in Christchurch so it maybe that we will catch up some time when we are down there again. God bless, Ron and Kathy Daly.

Passed peacefully on January 25, 2024. Dearly loved sister and sister-in-law of Nona, Rod, Carrie, Gary, Irene, and the late Richard and Jeanne. Loved aunt and great-aunt of her many nieces and nephews.
