Doris RIVERS Obituary
On September 23, 2021, peacefully at Addington Gardens Rest Home, aged 97 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Syd. Loved Mum and friend of Kevin and Lana, Carole, John and Marg. Dearly loved Nana and Granny to all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Messages to the Rivers family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A special heartfelt thankyou to all the staff at Addington Gardens for their love and care of Doris and her family. A Family Service has been held.

On behalf of the Carpenter family Prebbleton our deepest sympathy is extended to her family.
We loved her company at family gatherings. Doris was always bright and cheerful. We were thrilled to have her be with us all at our last big Carpenter family gathering approximately 3 years ago. On a personal note I always enjoyed sitting with her as she recounted her early days, especially on the monthly Friday Friends afternoons
here in Prebbleton and she would tell me about her delivering the billy of milk to the Vicarage where we live now.
Doris made the most delicious apricot,ginger and cream cheese sandwiches. They were always a hit.
She will be missed.
