Doreen TYREE Obituary

Passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, aged 96, at Bupa Ashford Care Home in Prebbleton, Christchurch. Dearly loved wife of the late Robert (Bob), and much loved mother of Kevin, Peter and Jill, Grandma Dor Dor to Jenny, Libby and Suszie, and Great-Grandma to Emily and Levi. There is no funeral service as per Doreen's final wishes.

So sad to hear of Doreen´s passing I found Doreen during my research in the 90´s on our Paine/Vann line.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you know how sad I was to find out today that Doreen had passed away. I have many fond memories of the times we had together and she will always be a part of my heart. Up until a couple of years ago we would catch up on the phone, which I enjoyed chatting with her. Doreen was a very much loved active member of Wanaka Genealogical group for many years
We missed her when she relocated to Christchurch
