Doreen ORSBOURN Obituary

ORSBOURN, Doreen Ann (nee Bailey) - On January 2, 2013, too soon at Christchurch hospital, aged 70 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ray. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Neil and Carol, Lisa and Arran Hunter, Craig, and Sara and Richard. Adored Dordor of Ty, Mackenzie, Alexandra, Han, Rebecca, and Matthew. Loved daughter of the late Newt and Joan Bailey. Loved sister of Jan, Barb, Allan, Annette, and Chris. Messages to the Orsbourn family c/- 19 London St, Christchurch 8013. No flowers by request please, donations to Cats Protection League would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Doreen will be held at John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Monday, January 7 at 1.00 p.m. Private committal thereafter.

ORSBOURN, Doreen — Doreen has been a valued member of the Woolston Community Association for 30 years and became our Woolston Community Centre Co-ordinator over 20 years ago. Her contribution to our community and us, as our true friend, will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with her family at this sad time, and the Committee Members of Woolston Community Association.
