Doreen LEOPOLD Obituary

On September 9, 2025, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Strathallan Rest Home, Timaru, aged 86 years. Dearly loved wife of Patrick (dec April 2025) for 66 years. Loved mother of Michelle, Sharon, Tania (dec), Cindy and Kelly. Loved Grandmother of Cushla, Stacey, Shane, Daniel, Rebekah and Beth. Loved deeply by all of Doreen's Great-Grandchildren, and Great-Great-Grandchildren. Doreen was the rock of our family, who raised 5 sparkling diamond daughters and 1 slightly rough diamond of a husband that needed polishing a bit sometimes to keep him focused. We are honoured to have had you as our Mum and very proud of everything you have done for us all. We love you dearly and it is time for you to rest in peace now Mum. It is now our turn to continue the Leopold legacy into the future. A private cremation service is being held to recognise Doreen's wishes, and a date to celebrate Doreen's life will be advised.
