Doreen HARLIWICH Obituary

Passed away peacefully at Diana Isaac Retirement Village on Thursday, April 16, 2026, aged 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Don. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Donald and Raewyn, Kay (deceased) and Noel, Jan and Martin, Robert and Sam, and Sue. Much loved Nana to 11 grandchildren, and Wee Nana to 27 great-grandchildren. Will be sadly missed by the extended family and many friends. Many thanks to the staff at Diana Isaac for all their loving care of Doreen. In lieu of flowers donations to St John would be appreciated and may be made online via stjohn.org.nz. Messages to the family of Doreen Harliwich, c/- PO Box 26051, North Avon, Christchurch 8148. A celebration of Doreen and Don's life will be held the John Rhind Chapel, entry from London and Whitmore Streets, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

To Doreen´s family, will be missed at the hairdresser on a Friday morning a regular for years , lots of chat with Doreen over the years she use to joke about not being around next time we were to meet, a cream bun was the winnings , looks like Doreen had the last say , she spoke highly of all her family and her love for Don RIP Doreen
