Doreen CAREY Obituary
Passed away at home on Saturday, September 9, 2023, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Des. Treasured Mum and mother-in-law of Leanne and Tony, Ange and Grant, Vanessa and Mark. Cherished Nana of Danii, Rowan and Kirsty, and Great-Nana of Ocean. Special friend of Walter and Leonie. A much loved sister and sister-in-law to Barry and Lyn, Jenny, and the late Pearl, John, and Pam. A loved aunty to all of her nieces and nephews. Messages can be addressed to The Carey Family, C/- 19 London St, Richmond, Christchurch 8013. A celebration for Doreen will be held in the John Rhind Chapel, corner of London and Whitmore Sts, Richmond, Christchurch, on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

Dear Leanne & Tony, Danii, Rowan, Vanessa & Mark and family. Very saddened and shocked to hear of Doreen's passing. She was such a lovely lady and Sam and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing her when she visited Longbeach. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
