Donn ARMSTRONG Obituary

On behalf of the West Melton Airfield Committee, we send our sincere sympathy to Liz and family. Donn was a wonderful friend and hard-working contributor to Canterbury Aero Club. We enjoyed many flights together in EIP and we will always remember his legacy as we look around the airfield.

I'm very sorry to hear of Donn's passing.
My sincere condolences to Liz and the extended family.
I worked with Donn in the valuation field where he was held in high regard and as a younger valuer he was always available to for a chat and to bounce ideas off.
Donn will be greatly missed.

I always enjoyed chatting to Don at the Aero Club Socials and held him in high regard. Donn was greatly respected for all the work he completed at the West Melton Aero Club. He will be greatly missed.

Our farm was adjacent to the Armstrongs so we grew up together. I remember him carrying Betty to school. A true gentleman.

Donn will always be remembered with great fondness and respect for his enormous contribution to the running of our club. Condolences to family and friends.

Donn was one of the finest persons I had the privilege to work with in the rural valuation field. He was always a man of both character and integrity. My sincere condolences to his family.

The Canterbury Aero Club mourns the loss of a true stalwart. A real gentleman who has contributed so much time, effort, friendship, wisdom, knowledge and kindness, Donn will be very sadly missed. The Club extends its deepest sympathy to Liz and the rest of Donn´s family.
