Donald Hugh (Don):
Peacefully, at Christchurch Public Hospital, on Sunday, November 21, 2021, aged 75. Loved son of the late Nance and Hector. Loved Dad and father-in-law of Shane, Donna and Johnny, Tania and Jimmy, and Vanessa. Loved grandad of Josh, Ocean, Will, George, Jasmine, Lilli, Ruby, Ella, Jessie, and Luke. Great-grandad of Natalia. Dog dad of 'Fritz'. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Barbara and Alistair, Lynne and Rex, and the late Don. Thank you to the marvellous emergency services, ED and ICU staff. Messages c/- PO Box 10345, Christchurch 8145. A celebration of Don's life will be held in the Ferry Park Chapel, 297 Ferry Road, on Tuesday, November 30, at 11.00am. Private thereafter.

Many Happy memories in those early years ,when we would take Young Shane and Martin up to the Nth, Canty, Lakes for numerous weekend fishing trips. also the many Xmas days all spent with our families, and don t forget the many times trying to net trout and go white baiting late in the evenings, never with any success , apart from getting cold and a wet bum. but always a lot of fun. Our deepest Sympathy to all the Family.
