Donald CRERAR Obituary
In Christchurch, on May 2, 2025, aged 87 years. Loved Husband of Hazel for 58 years, second eldest son of Dorothy and Alex Crerar of Dovedale, loved father of Shelley Verheul and son-in-law Paul Verheul, loved grandad of Stephen and Jessica Quinn, loved great-grandad of Cora Fisher, brother and brother-in-law of Robert (deceased) and Janet, Andrew (deceased) and Julie, Archie and Lesley, John (deceased) and Jenny, Tom and Pat, Alex and Sandy (deceased), much loved uncle and great-uncle to a host of nieces and nephews. Messages may be addressed to the family of the late Donald Crerar, c/o PO Box 39127, Christchurch 8545. In accordance with Don's wishes a cremation has been held.

Fond memories of a great guy who enjoyed a laugh and beer playd squash at Richmond club for many years. He was a great friend and down road neighbour of my parents Peter and Heather Higgins.

Loved our telephone conversation on growing up in Dovedale heaps of laughs,remembering when your first job was at Woolworth's you would come home with a big bag of lollies us younger ones always managed to find them ,thanks for the memories love you brother Donald
