Dinesh MEHTA Obituary

Passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, aged 86 years. Husband of Sudha, father and father-in-law of Shaila and Nigel, Kashira and Greg, and Bhumi and Warwick, loving Dada of Pareesha, Tashana, Mandara, Safiya, Tarin, Rohan, Amira, Maya, and Ari. Dinesh will be missed by family and friends all over the world, you were always in his thoughts. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Dinesh Mehta, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust or S.P.C.A can be made online in Dinesh's name. A Funeral Service for Dinesh will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, This Day (Saturday), at 2.00pm.

To the family of Dinesh Mehta:

I have only just heard about the passing of Dinesh and I send my sincere condolences to you for your loss.

I worked closely with Dinesh when he was at Orion refurbishing the high voltage cable network in Christchurch. Dinesh was one of the good guys and I am happy to remember him as a friend.

Dear Sudan and family
So sorry to hear the sad news of Dinesh´s passing. Please accept our deepest condolences.
We remember when we first met Dinesh at the Christchurch MED.He was a dedicated and knowledgeable Engineer throughout his career.He made a considerable contribution looking after the power cables that service Christchurch City.
We also enjoyed many social events meeting up with the family.
