Dianne CLAUGHTON Obituary

Passed away peacefully, with Graham by her side, at Nurse Maude Hospital, Christchurch, on Sunday, June 16, 2024, aged 76 years. Beloved wife of Graham. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of John, Sharron and Brian. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Christine, Marilyn, and Geoff. Loved mother to Graham's children Paul and Tina, Wendy and Mitch, Ellen and Gavin, Rachel and Dan. Loving grandma to Mikaila, Kyle, Lewis, Audrey, Gemma, Lucas, Eilish and Celine. Many thanks to the staff at Nurse Maude for all their loving care of Dianne. Messages to the Claughton family, c/- 19 London Street, Christchurch 8013. A Funeral Service for Dianne will be held at the Beckenham Methodist Church, 83 Malcolm Avenue, Beckenham, on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 2.00pm followed by a private cremation.

My thoughts and prayers go to John and Sharron, and the Lloyd family. Diane was a wonderful family friend and showed great loyalty towards my parents. It was wonderful to have Diane in our lives. She had a heart of gold and willingly gave her time to others. Diane has gone way too soon. Rest in Peace, Diane.

Beloved mother of John and Sharron. Loved daughter of the late Mal and Muriel Lloyd. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Marilyn and the late Ian Morris, Christine Lloyd, Geoffrey and Sue Lloyd. Also loved Aunty of her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. No flowers by request although there will be donations accepted at the service for The Methodist Mission and Nurse Maud Assn.
