On January 20, 2026, in Rangiora, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Walter Erle Radford. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael Richardson, Phillip and Jane Richardson, and Julienne and David Stewart. Loved Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to all her Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren. Loved sister of the late Bryan, and Rose Atkins, and the late Warren and the late Pam. Yesterday
Peacefully passed away January 20, 2026. Loved mother to Phillip, mother-in-law to Jane, Granny Di to Daniel, Josh, Samantha and Tehlia, their partners, and her great-grandchildren. Former Publican of The Hanmer Lodge, Federal Hotel Picton and Sandridge Hotel Christchurch. When you think of Di remember her as a woman who was vibrant, enjoyed a beer and a laugh, who put everyone else first, someone who took pride in her appearance and had a sense of dignity. We were blessed to have Mum as long as we did and although sad, let's celebrate her life, but most importantly she was a great Mum.
