On November 17, 2025, peacefully at home, on his birthday, aged 70 years. Dearly loved father of Brooke, and Jackson, special friend of Tania, loved brother, uncle and friend to many.

Rest easy

In accordance with Red's wishes a private cremation will be held, a memorial service to celebrate Red's life will be held at a later date, details to follow.

I was saddened to hear of your passing mate. You only called me a few weeks ago and said you were keen to come down and check out my new Man Cave. When I asked how's the health you told me all good lately, so to hear this sad news was a real shock. Thanks for the great memories, the work you did for me. We'll miss you coming to see us in Temuka. Condolences to Jackson, Brooke and Tania and all your whanau. RIP my friend.
