Derek PRESCOTT Obituary
Reg. No. B44345, (RNZAOC) On December 8, 2022 at Marlborough Hospice, Blenheim, aged 69 years. Much loved husband of Jo, loved father and father-in-law of Rachel and Mike Maher (Marton), and Chrissy and George Millar (Matamata), loved Poppa of Liam, Lucy, Eva, Henry and Will. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Marlborough Hospice (Acc. No: 03 1369 036520700 Ref: Prescott) would be appreciated or may be made at the service. A celebration of Derek's life will be held at the Springlands Chapel, Cloudy Bay Funeral Services, 15 Boyce Street, Blenheim, on Wednesday, December 14 at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

To Jo, Rachel, Chrissy & family,
Just heard the news of Derek's passing. Straight away it bought back memories of being in the Sicon office, with Derek sitting at his make shift desk by the window and me at a proper work station. We had a lot of great laughs at work and after work. He was an breath of fresh air or not cause he could get grumpy sometimes, but always did what was required.
