Derek MOORHOUSE Obituary

Aged 92, died peacefully on January 17, 2026. Beloved husband of the late June, loved father and father-in-law of Melissa and Kelly, Angela and Simon, David and Letitia, Gerard and Vivien, and Rachael and Kieran. Proud and cherished grandfather of Zac, Abby, Finn, Luisa, Charlie, Tane, Natasha, Cameron, Ellie and Will, and treasured great-grandad of Shaun, Ashlyn, Esme, Margot, Aggie, Monty, Basil and Pippa. Much loved son of Terence and Thelma, and loved brother of Liz, Monica, Barbara and Mark. Loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to many. The family are very appreciative of the wonderful care of Dad in the last years of his life especially from the Urology Department, ED, District Nurses, and most recently the kind and respectful care at Nazareth House. We will miss him, especially those wonderful chats and his amazing recall of events from long ago. A private funeral has been held.
