DER VAN Obituary

On February 10, 2026, peacefully, following an unexpected and sudden illness at Dunstan Hospital; aged 62 years. Loved soulmate of Tina, loved ex-husband of Ruth, beloved father of Sophie and Charlie, and Hartley, loving step-dad of Jamie, Georgia, and Tayla, and loving "Laurence" of Anton, and Dayton, adored son of Diane, and the late John, and loved brother of Ralph. A passionate business owner and advocate of the Central Otago region and its history. Laurence is a friend of many and will be sorely missed. Thank you to the staff of Dunstan Hospital for their dedication and care for Laurence. A private farewell will take place.
