Denis BLOMQUIST Obituary

Formerly of Banks Peninsula and Lincoln, passed away in Nelson Hospital on January 9, 2026. Loved father of Sarah, Anna and Kurt, respected father-in-law to Blair and Johannes, and cherished grandad to James, Daniel, Inge and Lena. A celebration of Denis' life will be held at Waahi Taakaro Golf Course in the Matai Valley Nelson, on January 23, at 2.00pm. We would like to thank the staff of Nelson Hospital and Coastal View for their care of Denis. Sad to hear of Denis passing, i went to school with Denis in Pigeon Bay and still have fond memories of Denis and i paddling our dinghy around the bay and going for walks around the hills. My condolences to his extended family. Athol Curtis
