Deborah Louise (Debbie):
On Thursday, March 8, 2018, Debbie passed away after a brave battle with bowel cancer, aged 60 years. Loving wife of Chris for over 40 years, supportive, caring, and cheerful mother of Nick, Greg, and Karla, and their families. Treasured nana of Abbie, Caleb, and Jacob; Emily, Flyn; Ella, Harry, and Connor. Special thanks to the Oncology Team at Christchurch Hospital, and Nurse Maude Palliative Care Unit. Messages may be addressed to The Family of the late Debbie Ritchie, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545, or leave a message in the Press Obituaries Guestbook. Donations in memory of Debbie, to Cancer Society Research, would be appreciated and may be made at the service. The Funeral Service for Debbie will be held in St Gregory's Catholic Church, 26 Cotswold Avenue, Bishopdale, on Tuesday, March 13, at 11.30am (please arrive by 11.00am). Private cremation thereafter. At Debbie's request no black or dark colours to be worn.

Debbie, my heart is broken when I found this message. I deeply regret not visiting you after I left night n´day food store. But every thing is too late for me. I still remember the day you hugged me in the store and you like my mum to understand me! I´m crying, I missed you so much! Alex
