I will remember Dean/Reg as full of life, with a natural get-up-and-go spirit. He always had something to say or do, a cheeky smile, twinkle in the eye, an inner strength and yes, a touch of stubbornness on occasion. His infectious laugh, quick wit, and easy warmth made him a pleasure to be around.
I will hold dear the memories of the times spent with Dean and Kathryn "Lord and Lady ..." and I remain deeply grateful for the companionship and true partnership they shared, side by side and united. It is always something special to be around two people who genuinely made each other happy.
To our friend Reg, thanks for the great company and memories we will remember them.
And to my dear friend Kathryn... what can I say? Your strength and courage never ceases to amaze me. You are remarkable, and you will continue to be.
My love and support are with you, now and always.

Saddened to read this. Fond memories of Dean right from Saturday morning schoolboy cricket in Darfield right through to senior Malvern cricket. I think he was a better bloke than a cricketer, but always seemed to have a great passion for the game. Condolences to his family.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dean, a cherished brother, brother-in-law and uncle, whose generosity, kindness and "get up and do" attitude left a lasting impression on all who knew him. He was, in every sense, an all-round great bloke - always ready with a quick wit, a listening ear, and a helping hand. Best big brother anyone could ask for. He will be deeply missed by Rob, Lisa, Jesse, and Jordy; Chaz, Donna and Amelia; Melinda, Matthew, Ruby, Harry, and Molly; Juliet, Chris, and Jasmine.
