de Rohan Hatherly Philp:
On Monday, December 13, 2021 at Nurse Maude, Christchurch, aged 75 years. Lawyer, Farmer, Aviator, Sailor, Horticulturalist. Dearly loved husband to Kay of 51 years. Loved and admired father and father-in-law to Simon and Victoria, Anna (deceased) and Julia. Loved Grandpa of Carter, Isabella, Lucy and Olivia. Loved brother of Margot, Heather, Pip and Tim and by many members of his wider family and friends. Thank you to the wonderful Nurse Maude staff. A celebration of Rohan's life will be held in the new year, following a private cremation.

The support from Rohan in the 1970's enabled us to buy our first house. Always a great sounding board to help resolve issues. I always found his integrity to be above and beyond - used to remind me 'If this is not good for both parties, do not go ahead.' Your attitude to life will be with us always.

We were very sad to hear of Rohan´s passing.
We have a generational connection with Rohan. He was our family lawyer for many years, a sailing buddy and a friend.
Rohan was an astute lawyer, a gentleman, a brilliant sailing buddy and a very likeable rogue.
I know he will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He has certainly left his mark on the world.
Our kindest thoughts are with Rohan´s family.
