Always a kind and gentle man! We remember Bob from his days as an usher at St. Eugene's. My son was two or three at the time and always insisted Bob pick him up so he could give him a hug after Mass.

My condolences to the Cox family. Mr. Cox was always very cool to me. I was always in awe of all the weights he had in his garage linings the walls.

Bob was more of a mentor for me. We would talk for hours and I would just listen like a child cross legged waiting for the next story or piece of advice from his past. Thank you for knowledge and advice that I still refer to even in my 60´s. Our family has known the Cox family for about 45 years.

Bob was a faithful usher at St. Eugene´s Cathedral, and with Mary Ann he hosted many a memorable social at their home. The highlight was to gather around their white-enamel French wood stove that provided a toasty environment for the best discussions. Bob and I were the same age, but in my obituary there won´t be a mention of my going to the gym daily until my 80s. God bless him - Bob was an exquisite gift from heaven. Condolences to Mary Ann and the children.

Dave Green here. I remember Bob very fondly. At least once a week he used to quote Kermit the Frog to me in his very deep voice saying "it isn´t easy being green". He had a huge personality and was fun to work around.

So sorry to hear of Bob `s passing. I was just thinking about him the other day and his tips on fitness - thinking I should have followed his advice better than I did. Bob was a great guy and I enjoyed working with him at HP. My sincere condolences to his family.

Bob was also a faithful blood donor, and his visits always livened up the donor room. He made everyone smile!

I was devastated to read that Bob passed away. I can't even find the words that could do Bob justice. He was such a gentle soul, so kind hearted, always a smile on his face, a book in his hand. A life well lived, always there for everyone at any time, always with that twinkle in his eyes. I feel blessed that I even knew him and honored to call him my friend. The world seems a little dimmer without Bob in it and I just hope those angels know who they got. Until we meet again my friend, you were simply unforgettable. To his family, I am so sorry you've lost him but he'll always live in our hearts.
