On Friday, November 7, 2025, aged 83 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Alison, loved and cherished Dad of Brenton and Katherine, beloved Poppa to Mackenzie, Courtney and Charlotte. Heartfelt thanks to the nurses and nurse aids at Ward 11 Christchurch Hospital for their recent care and support of David. Due to David's wishes there is to be no funeral, but a celebration of David's life will be held, place and date to be confirmed. Messages may be addressed to the family of the Late David Wilson, c/- Hope Funerals Christchurch, 27 Amyes Road, Hornby, Christchurch 8042.

We are thinking of you both as you mourn your dad´s passing. Although it must be extra difficult losing him so soon after your mum, take comfort from the fact that he will no longer be grieving for her.

David will be at peace with his dearest Alison , they were just around the corner from me at Elms Court, and both called in to talk to me, as we shared the love of doing Wasgijs and puzzles and waiting to see how much I had done daily , I will miss them both, and it leaves a big hole in your heart, that no one else can fill and it is a year since I lost my husband here on the 14th Novemnber so still very raw, hang onto those memories they will help you a little Faithfully Pam Bell .
