Justin I am so very sorry I am now no longer able to attend Dave's funeral today as I have an appointment with the hospital that I could not change my love and thoughts go out to you and Murray and your families please accept my apologies and much love Dave was such an awesome guy so very easy to like and will be missed greatly

Dave was a true gentleman and one of the good guys. It was a pleasure every day to work with him. He was greatly respected by all who came in contact with him during his career with MQM, NZFSA, MAF and MPI. You were taken way too early. Go well Dave you are sorely missed.

Sorry to here about Dave, go back to Lincoln in 1967, and more recently the EIT course here in Napier

Very sad to hear that Dave has passed away. I worked closely with Dave at MAF for over 20 years on the Christchurch circuit and knew him before that when he worked at Islington. He was a workmate and close friend who was loyal to his employer and fellow colleagues. He was a hard worker and could be depended on to get a job done. Rest In Peace Dave.

I worked with Dave for almost 50 years and was sad to hear of Dave's passing.
