Mr Sell, was my music teacher at HVMTC Petone Tech from 1953-55. I had reason to contact him three years ago with regard to the Music Festival which was held annually at that time at the Wellington Town Hall. He wrote a lovely email describing the events of that time. 1953 was my first year at college and it was his first year in the teaching world.
He is remembered after all these years with fondness.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family.

Dear Delwyn, Amanda and Megan
so so sad to hear of 'Father's passing; what a true gentleman he was, who loved you three girls so much. Sending you all big hugs and thoughts at this sad time; I imagine that his funeral will be glorious music-filled celebration of a wonderful life lived well.
Much love
