Dear Fiz and Family, I always admired David and enjoyed his company when we worked with him. He was a forward thinking man who helped New Zealand and especially North Canterbury farmers to seek ways to improve the farming environment for the future. Our work with him and the Canterbury broom group to develop ways to control broom has been a highlight for our team. Our kindest regards and thoughts to you, Hugh Gourlay and the biocontrol of weeds team at Landcare Research.

We were saddened to hear of Dave"s passing and are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Although our paths have not crossed for a while we remember good times with Dave in his earlier years.
