Dear Fiona , although we only met him briefly , I thought your Dad was remarkable- very spry & interesting! Sympathies to you & Tim , Charlotte & Annabelle.
Michael Leunig´s requiem poem is very sweet:
Lives are sacred, theirs & ours
Trees & creatures, birds & flowers
Light a candle bright & small
Requiem for one & all
......
Life is wondrous, so is death
Glorious the final breath
Let the flower be the prayer
Life & death be everywhere.
Best wishes for tomorrow.

So sad to hear of David´s passing. Such a lovely man, & I feel privileged to have known him. David will be missed by so many, & it seems to have come far too early in his life such was his energy, humour & sharp thinking. Sad news.

After many years (30ish) of working together in both Real Estate and IT, Dave and I continued to remain good mates and spoke often. Dave was one of the good guys. A true gentleman and friend. I will sadly miss out chats and friendship. My heart goes out to Fiona, Andrew and all the family. xx
