David PENROSE Obituary

Sincere condolences to David's family.
David for sometime resided in the room next to my Mum at the Anthony Wilding Rest Home and latterly in the Hospital wing.
David always enjoyed a chat and also a read of the Akaroa Mail after Mum had read it.
David was very good at remembering ones name.
He would remember my name when I was unsure of his when he first became a resident.
RIP David and thank you for your sincere friendship.

He always had a simple way of looking at a complexed engineering job.
And bludging his smokes
