David MOORE Obituary

On July 11, 2023, passed away peacefully, aged 76 years. Son of the late Ron and Joan Moore. Adored brother of Ellen. Dearly loved father of Kelly and Megan. Treasured Poppa of Ryan, Emily, Xavier and Mila, and loving Uncle to Aimee, Jamie, and Anna. Our sincere appreciation to Mona and the team at Cashmere View for their love and care of David and us. Family and friends are welcome to join us at St Barnabas Church, Fendalton Road, on Monday, July 17, at 2.00pm.

Sorry I didnt get to say goodbye. All our efforts to catch up after the loss of Colin just didn't work out. It's too late to thank you for giving me the opportunity to wash all those dishes at Noahs hotel and for being a genuine caring friend and mentor. You once called me the biggest punk you ever met and I think that term of endearment helped me view the real world.
Rest well. You will not be forgotten and thank you.

Arohanui e te Whanau ... I was blessed to have known Dave. His abilities and training of many young keen,up and coming chefs at Noahs Hotel was ground breaking for the hosptality industry. I was always welcomed into his kitchen, where he shared his love for people, food technique,food trends and his other love... for racehorses.
