Passed away peacefully at home in his sleep, on Sunday, April 21, 2024, in his 83rd year. Dearly loved husband of the late Carol for 55 years, loved dad of Martine, and Alastair, treasured granddad of Ethan, and Isaac. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Dave McDougall, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. A Service to celebrate Dave's life will be held in our Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, on Tuesday April 30, at 10.00am, private cremation thereafter.

Dear Alastair,

I was deeply saddened to hear of your father´s passing. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this difficult time. I can only imagine the pain of losing someone so dear, and my thoughts are with you and your family.

Your dad´s long life and the love he shared with your mum for 55 years is a beautiful legacy. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and in the support of those around you.
