David KOSKELA Obituary
Passed away at St Andrew's MetLife Care Home, Cambridge NZ, on November 11, 2025. Loving husband of the late Penny (Wyatt). Loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle to the Koskela, Hall, Pickard, Jack and Wyatt families. Special thanks to the staff at MetLife Care for their loving care. A private cremation has been held, and Wayne's and Penny's ashes will be interned together in Christchurch. Messages for Wayne's families to A R Jack, 285 Trents Road, RD 6, Christchurch 7676.

Wayne and I sat together at ChCh South Intermediate school. We also were NZED apprentices starting in 1960. As I live in Invercargill and Wayne in Cambridge we didn´t get together often but stayed in touch electronically.

Wayne, who is going to ring the bells at St Andrew's church now. I'll always remember your famous Fiat 125. Parked outside the Whakamaru Control Centre. On the cold frosty mornings of nightshifts, you'd set an electric heater inside the car to warm it for your journey home to Mangakino. I believe the 125 became a chook house up McLaron road. Always a gentleman.
