David KISSELL Obituary

19.06.1953 - 18.02.2025

Sadly David passed away in the care of Nelson Tasman Hospice. Dearly loved husband of Wendy and much loved father and father-in-law of Maree and Jimmy Deans, Stephen and Helle, Shanon and Mel. Loved son and son in-law of the late John and Daphne Kissell and Brian and Margaret Sharland . Cherished Granddad of Aiden, Ella, Hope, Bella and Catherine . A much loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and nephew to his extended family.
At rest in the arms of Jesus.
A celebration of David's life will be held at All saints Anglican Church Vanguard St. Nelson. Saturday, February 22 at 2.00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Nelson Tasman Hospice would be much appreciated.

As a member of our men's swimming group had some great funtimes at ngawhatu pool an was so unfair when that shut down 7 or 8years ago did carry on abit at aquatic centre but lost some of our members passed away also þhen covid brought it to a end but David was so much fun to be around an his knowledge of life was valuable for our group helped me alot because l was new to nelson such a solid aged men's group something that was needed for us an we did have a younger
.member David brought along to keep us young an honest to each other was real times for the group a respected team member an knew Alan his brother founder of our men's shed group sadly lost too many of our group rest in peace David from Solomon
