Richard Jenkins and Michelle Dawe are letting you know the very sad news that our dad, Dave Jenkins (from Christchurch) passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, after a sudden hospitalisation. He valued and loved all his connections with family, friends, and wide interest groups. Please join us to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Friday, November 7, 2.00pm - 3.30pm at St Christopher's Church Hall, 244 Avonhead Rd, Christchurch. Dave, I only met you once but I'm very glad I did. I'm so sorry that you didn't get to meet your granddaughter, but I promise we will tell her all about you and Suzanne so that she knows her grandparents. Love you, miss you, RIP xxx

Richard and Michelle, my love and thoughts are with you as you farewell your beloved Dad, and celebrate his life with loved ones. Although I didn't get to meet David, I know he would have been an awesome Grandad to his soon to be born granddaughter, and it would have been lovely sharing the grandparenting experience with him. May his memory be forever cherished and passed on through photos, stories, and his love for his family.
